The Sound of Music by Laibach is a reinterpretation of the soundtrack of the musical of the same name.

Laibach embarks on a worldwide tour that includes four UK shows: Brighton’s Concorde 2 on 30 March, Glasgow’s Classic Grand on the 31 March, London’s Electric Ballroom on 2 April and Manchester’s Academy 2 on 3 April. The tour begins next month in Germany and includes a performance at the Kampnagel / Krass Festival in Hamburg on 14 February.

With SPECTRE, Laibach has once again ‘re-invented’ itself in a newly born, yet polished and solid, formation. And, as is now customary, the band calls into question all the rigid and cemented interpretations (and prejudices) about itself, about its music, intentions, philosophy and ideology.
For reasons known only to the French moral police, Laibach has always had problems getting shows in France. We’ve been accused of fascism and all kinds of paranoid nonsense and cultural chauvinism. The same situation is, unfortunately, repeating now with our upcoming tour to promote the new album Spectre.

A spring and summer tour starting in April 2012, featuring Laibach live, presenting and promoting the science fiction dark comedy, film Iron Sky. Laibach has composed the soundtrack for this film and will perform selected songs from it live in concert, along with other material including some preview songs from their two forthcoming albums and a set of classic Laibach songs spanning from the early 80’s to today.
