The Scipion Nasice Sisters Theatre (Slovene: Gledališče sester Scipion Nasice) was founded on October 13, 1983, with a founding manifesto (The Sister Letter).

NSK principles are codified in the Internal Book of Laws in 1985. The only parts of this “book” to have been publicly issued are the “Constitution of Membership and Basic Duties of NSK Members,” along with the briefer “Five Principles of Friendship.” (NSK,Neue Slowenische Kunst, 4-3)
