OSTRALE – Biennale is the third largest exhibition for contemporary art in Germany.
OSTRALE’s guiding principles, such as peaceful coexistence, acceptance of the stranger / unknown, respect for each other, religious diversity and internationality, are reflected in the exhibitions.
This year under the motto ‘re_form’, OSTRALE combines works from young and established artists from different genres such as painting, sculpture, photography, sound-light video, installation and performance.

The exhibition also features a classic, NSK-retro-style passport office and an updated & expanded version of the 2014 “Past-Present-Future” timeline first exhibited at the 1st NSK Folk Art Biennale in Leipzig/Lipsk.
